We changed cars halfway there, stopping at an abandoned warehouse where two other cars and several men were waiting for us as if they knew exactly when we would arrive.
The three men got out of the car, leaving me alone, and I waited silently, making sure they weren't looking at me before pushing the door just a little.
To my relief, it was unlocked. I opened it wider and seized the opportunity to escape.
I didn't care if it was stupid or if he'd shoot me in the back. I just forced my feet to run.
