CHAPTER 27: Why do you think I'm going to need you?

Several days had passed, the routine between them was the same, pretending before the others, just as they agreed in the contract they signed.

The mornings before going to the shipping company, Myriam would go with Tony to greet Helena, they both met and became friends.

"Mrs. Helena, have you tried standing up?" Myriam asked, having breakfast with her.

The lady took a sip of orange juice.

"I'm trying, but my legs won't work," she said, her voice shaking.

"Do you do therapy?"

The woman nodded and said no more. Myriam put her hand over hers.

"I think there's something blocking her, a pain that she has stored in her chest that doesn't let her be happy, I think she should get rid of it."

Helena squeezed Myriam's hand and shed a great torrent of tears until she choked on her own crying.
