Narrator:
Aylin remained motionless. It was surreal. Roman Adler, sitting at the table in his home, a cup of tea in his hand, chatting with her grandmother as if she were just another visitor. But she wasn't. And he knew it.
Roman looked up when he saw her enter. That slow, arrogant smile of his appeared immediately.
“Hello, Aylin, it's been a long time.” Her stomach tightened. She couldn't move, she couldn't even breathe. Roman tilted his head, studying her. “Aren't you going to say hello?”
Her grandmother smiled at her, completely oblivious to the tension that had just flooded the room.
“My girl, come here, Mr. Roman has been a charm.” He came here just to see you.“
Aylin swallowed hard, rooted to the spot.
Roman watched her calmly, as if enjoying every second of her reaction. Because he did.
”Nice place. Cozy."
She pressed her lips together. She couldn't speak, couldn't process anything.
Her grandmother stood up with a smile.
“I'll bring more tea. Don't move, dear.
