Ava could guess what was going on. She quickly ended the call with Madeline and tried to comfort Maisie.

“Maisie, please don’t get emotional.”

“Wait, Ava, what did I just hear? You just said that Mr. Lowe and I are trending. What does this mean?” Maisie asked hurriedly.
