Gwynn ignored Noah altogether.

She called for the nurse and asked her to hook up another IV drip for Lorian.

At that moment, Kim came over with breakfast. She knew Gwynn resented Noah. So, she said, “I paid for the breakfast. Technically, I’m the one who bought the porridge for him. Let’s not let Lorian rest on an empty stomach.”

Gwynn was no longer the young, impulsive lady anymore. So, she didn’t turn down Kim’s offer.

On the other hand, Kim had a couple of kids herself. Naturally, she knew how to deal with a kid. She poured the porridge out into a bowl and played a little with Lorian.

The little boy had such a good time with her that he had forgotten about what happened earlier. He said gleefully, “I’m hungry, Kim.”

“Alright. I’m going to feed you some porridge. We’ll let Mom and Dad have a word outside.” Kim said.

Lorian was already an obedient kid. Moreover, he loved Kim quite much. So, he was more than willing to let her feed him porridge.
