Gwynn stood in the ward and blinked softly.
She wasn’t a fool. She had a good idea why Archibald lost his composure. Was it because she and Anderson looked alike? Or, was it because she brought up some old memories in him?
“Mommy! Mommy!” Lorian pulled at her sleeves gently.
Gwynn came back to her senses, bent down, and carried him in her arms. “Come on. Let’s go outside and get you out in the sun.”
