Henry Armstrong wanted to give her a heads up and tell her how he felt so that she could feel safe.

“If you don’t want this to end… Go and sort things out with your family… If you can’t do it, we’ll break up…” Georgie Clementine added.

“Alright, alright… I understand. Where are you? I’ll come and see you…” Henry said.

“I’m at the office.” Georgie hung up right after saying that.

There was an indescribable sense of annoyance in her heart.

Georgie had already thought that Henry’s family might disagree with them being together when they first started dating.

However, Georgie didn’t expect his family to insult her like this.

For example, had Henry’s mother been a little more polite in expressing herself, Georgie would’ve been willing to stoop lower and work hard with Henry.

But now, Henry’s mother had already made things very clear. Georgie had no reason to keep stooping low any longer.

If things worked out, they worked out.

If they didn’t… It’d be the end of the relationship.
