The two women watched Rosalie’s figure disappear through the door, then they went into the restaurant and sat by the window.

"Wendy, what's the matter between you and Dr. Jacobs? I assume you both know each other but you’re not on good terms?" Andrea asked cautiously as she looked at the person opposite her.

Wendy gritted her teeth angrily. "How could we be on good terms? Rosalie is Byron's ex-wife!"

If it were not for Rosalie, her marriage with Byron would have been a done deal long ago!
