Elisa smiled and raised her hand to wipe away the tears from the corner of her eyes. She looked away and stared into the distance for a while before turning back. She then faced Zachary with a solemn expression, “Zachary, after hearing those words from you, I think it’s all worth it. My infatuation with you over the years was not in vain.”

She graciously extended her hand toward Zachary, who mirrored her action in the same manner, and they shook hands.
