Jane knew Grandma May’s necklace was expensive at just a glance. She quickly refused, saying, “You’ve already given Chloe a lot of jewelry, Grandma May. They’re more than enough.”

It was a necklace Grandma May often wore. Jane noticed Grandma May would always have that necklace on whenever she saw her.

“Since Clo-clo likes it, I’ll give it to her. I have many other necklaces anyway.”
