"Miss Samantha." When I left work, I found Hebe's driver waiting for me.
"Hi, Mr. Afonso. How are you?" I greeted with a smile. He was a very affable gentleman and always had a friendly smile on his face.
"Very well, thank you. And you?"
"I'm fine. Thank you. But what are you doing here?"
"Oh, I had the privilege of being assigned to pick you up today and take you home. It seems Mr. Heitor isn't feeling too well."
"Guys, what happened?" I thought it was strange; he only seemed nervous this morning. But I spent the whole day without hearing from him, which was strange.
"I have no idea. Shall we go?" Mr. Afonso opened the car door for me.
"Of course."
The ride was uneventful; Mr. Afonso is a very nice person and chatted with me the whole time. When he dropped me off at the door, he gave me the house keys, saying Heitor had asked him to hand them over. I walked past the security guards and inside.
