We finished shopping and went back to the farm. Melissa helped me with the bags and we went into the house calling for my parents. We were putting the bags on the sink when Pedro came running out and I heard him shout:

- Alessandro! You came!

- Of course I came, my friend, I missed you so much! – I heard Alessandro's voice and my knees went weak.

When I turned around, they were both in a tight hug, my mother with a huge smile, my father with a shocked face and Melissa with her mouth open watching Nando walk towards her.

- But what does this mean, Fernando? – She asked seriously without hugging her boyfriend.

- We can't stand missing our girls. And Pedro especially. – Fernando answered very naturally.

- But didn't I tell you where I was going? – Melissa was mad at her boyfriend.

- Are you and Catarina going out to spend the weekend together? There's only one place in the world you'd go, Mel! – Fernando said smugly.

I couldn't speak. I was too shocked. My parents invited everyone to sit
