Kate didn't say anything at first. She just looked at him, arms crossed, face blank. Inside, though, her heart beat fast and wild. Sienna wasn't his lover. She never had been. A part of her wanted to smile. She wanted to throw herself into his arms and lose herself there… but she didn't.
