"You could come to the office to look for me! You look silly standing next to the car." Avery smiled. "I thought you were trying to look cool. I was wondering since when you were such a show-off."
Elliot said, "I was afraid that I would disrupt the office if I entered."
"Everyone is off work. No one would care about being orderly. Furthermore, you're the big boss of Tate Industries. Why are you so afraid to come here?"
"This is your territory, so stop laughing at me."
"Okay, I won't laugh at you anymore. But I'm serious. You don't have to pick me up every day after work. I can drive on my own, or get the bodyguard to send me." Avery leaned her head on his shoulder and lightly sighed. "There are so many things to do at the end of the year! All kinds of miscellaneous things. Year-end reports, parties, future work plans… Usually, when I'm not in the office, no one ever looks for me. Now that I'm back to work, everyone comes to report to me. I was afraid that I was not that important.
