Gwen ignored Howard. She took off her jacket and the inner layer, revealing the tank top she wore underneath, as well as her scars all over her body.

Howard was bewildered. He asked stiffly, "Gwen, h-how did this happen?"

"This was Chuck's doing."

Gwen got up and walked over to Howard. "He imprisoned me and tortured me. He almost killed me. If it hadn't been for Yvonne, I would have long been dead."
