Three days later, Chuck was at the café in the morning, as usual. He had barely finished his cup of coffee when two men in black walked up to him.
"Mr. Jensen, Leonard and Claude would like a word with you."
Chuck was bewildered. "They're here?"
"Hmm."
One of the men turned sideways and gestured. "Please come with us. We've already taken care of the man spying outside. You don't have to worry."
Chuck's heart sank, but he pretended to stay calm. He got up. "Alright, I'll come with you."
Outside the café, Chuck subconsciously looked in the direction where Curtis used to be. At that moment, he saw a pair of legs behind the tree.
Chuck had long noticed Curtis spying on him. But he hadn't told Yvonne about it because he had wanted to assure her.
