“Love… I went to the hospital today,” she began, keeping her tone calm but firm. “I spoke to Sabrina.”

Arthur shot her a quick, surprised glance, without completely taking his eyes off the road.

“We don’t lie to each other,” she replied. “I went there. I managed to get past the police with Mariana’s help.”
