Shawn even carefully put the pen in her hand.

Nicole held it and started to write her name.

The words were not that well-written, but it was neat enough.

Shawn took out the ink pad. "Come, Nicole, put your thumb on this and press it on the paper."

Nicole did so.

It was the first time she had done something like that, so she felt like it was quite fun. She stained all five of her fingers in the ink before she slapped her hand on where the signature needed to be.
