Sabrina had gotten up early as usual, and was preparing to leave after washing her face. Before she could, however, she heard a deep voice coming from behind her.

“Hold on.”

Sabrina turned around to see Sebastian, dressed in a suit and leather shoes, holding onto his briefcase. Sabrina shot him a look of confusion.

“I am going to see my mother at the hospital this morning,” Sebastian said in a soft voice.

Sabrina was speechless.

Following awkwardly behind Sebastian, she got off the elevator and saw Kingston’s car parked by the entrance.

Sabrina walked past the front of the car with no intention of slowing down. As she had almost passed the doors, Sebastian suddenly grabbed ahold of her arm.

Sabrina trembled in surprise.

“Get in,” he said calmly as he opened the car door, gesturing for her to get in before he did himself. He proceeded to take a seat on the same row as her.

The sudden gesture had felt unnatural to Sabrina.
