The two nurses blinked, startled, then responded, "Are you blood type B?"

"Yes," Summer replied.

"Then come with us. But before you donate, you'll need to have your blood tested," one of the nurses explained.

Summer nodded to indicate her understanding.

Summer followed the nurse to the blood drawing station and saw several doctors and nurses there. Some of them were holding cotton balls and pressing on their arms, obviously just having had their blood drawn.
