Rowan replied, “Okay. I’ll view the houses with you now. If it’s really good, I’ll buy one for myself and live opposite you. We can have each other as company.”

“I think you shouldn’t buy a house on Westbrooke Street.”

Alex was only buying a house there because he wanted to be closer to Sheila.

Rowan was lazy. If he bought a house on Westbrooke Street, he would have to wake up early to go to work. If he chose not to live there, he would have to leave the house empty or rent it out instead.

The York family did not need that small amount of rent.
