Serenity laughed. “Of course not. But River immediately set another trap. I’m not sure how he’ll ensnare Rosalie this time, but one thing’s for certain. She can’t escape. He’s got her right where he wants her.

“After years of rivalry, they know each other inside out. But honestly, I think River’s been going easy on her. Otherwise, she wouldn’t stand a chance against him.

“He’s just too cunning.”

Zachary chuckled. “Well, you have to take into account who raised us. Since we now have an idea of who River’s other half is going to be, come home early. I miss you guys.”

“But we agreed on ten days. It’s still too soon.”
