“Rosalie even called me her husband. Of course, I have to call you ‘Grandpa’ like she does.”
Old Mr. Lafayette’s eyes widened. He did not believe Rosalie would call River her husband.
Even if she did, River’s reaction was weird. Was he not supposed to be angry and try to get back at Rosalie?

Rosalie could guess what River had told him when she saw him looking over. She
quickly explained, “No matter what River says, it’s all made up. I’ll tell you the truth when we get back, Grandpa.”
