When Serenity exited the bathroom, she saw Zachary carefully placing Heath in the crib beside the bed.
“Don’t put him down so soon. He might spit milk.”
Serenity quickly reminded Zachary not to let Heath lie down so quickly.
“Carry him for a little while more.”
Zachary picked Heath up again and asked, “How long should I hold him?”
“For quite some time more.
“Put Heath beside me later instead of the crib. We must get used to having him beside us, so you don’t squish him again.”
