Kate’s hand around David’s neck suddenly tightened; it scared her,

“They will be here tomorrow. Wifey, are you scared? David felt amazed by her reaction. This sudden darkness terrified her too much. 

Kate refused to lose her hand and shook her vigorously; seriously, how could she not be scared? In their south mansion, David planted lights in every corner; whether it was a stormy night, the mansion’s light kept on all night.

So Kate was not used to this sudden darkness.

“Wifey, I am with you, the living light in your life; why do you need these useless lights in your life” David wanted her to relax, so he coaxed her in his way; Kate smiled heartily. Suddenly she forgot about the darkness; she smiled with no worries.
