"Avery, if you get the chance to leave— right now, will you take it?" Jed looked up to see a small bird flying freely in the sky.
Avery followed his gaze, looking at the open skies, and said cautiously, "Back when everyone was telling me how dangerous of a place this was, I ignored them. But now, I have realized how right they are. This place really is dangerous. You could die here. I don't mind risking my life, but I can't risk the lives of others."
