Sitting on the chair, Weylin's eyes were focused on the laptop screen. His fingertips were sliding against the touchpad of the laptop. After checking the statistics for a while, he let out a deep sigh, running his long fingers through his hair. Taking off his spectacles, he leaned back against the chair. He closed his eyes, giving the muscles of his eyes a chance to relax.
"Damn! It has been a week already since I have met her," Weylin wondered, massaging his temples. "I wonder how her condition is now." He glanced at his phone before letting out a sigh. "I thought she would text me on the social media handle but it seems like things aren't in my favour. Things are only getting harder and harder."
"Weylin, are you again overworking yourself?" Jace walked in, holding a cup of coffee in his hand.

No sooner had the guests realized that the bride wasn't Miss Calypso than whispering and mumbling noises flooded the hall. Blake Turner frowned as soon as his eyes fell on the bride. An astounded Blake Turner glanced at his son who didn't seem to mind the disgusting gazes that were piercing him. Meanwhile, Mr Calypso just stared at the couple, unable to interpret the situation.
