Noah kicked her a few times. When he saw no reaction from Katie, he crawled over to her. He reached his hand out and placed it under her nose.

She wasn't breathing!

Noah was terrified. He stumbled backward once more and looked at Katie in disbelief. "I-impossible! H-how could she be dead?"

He frantically got up and shook her by the shoulder. "Wake up! You can't die! You can't do this to me! Katie Jones!"
