Jane realized she had crossed the line. She frantically pretended that she was aggrieved. "Cory, you don't know that Yvonne and I—"
"I have no interest in your grudges," Cory interrupted her coldly. "Go back to your room and stay away from me."
Ever since the other night, Cory had his men keep Jane locked in her room. Aside from giving her three meals a day, no one was allowed to talk to her or go near her without his permission.
