Upon saying that, Deirdre looked toward Laura with slight puzzlement in her eyes. "Why did you suddenly bring up Glenna to me, Ms. Smith? Could it be that you know her?"

Laura's expression changed ever so slightly. She smiled and said, "I know her, of course. However, we are only acquaintances, but I'm slightly curious about her."
