Hearing her footsteps, he looked up at her affectionately.

Coco suddenly rushed into his arms. "Lucas, I love you so much."

"I know. I love you too." Although he was a bit puzzled by her sudden affection, he was very happy.

"From now on, I'll stay by your side, and I won't mind you having more bodyguards around me. The number doesn’t matter!" she continued.

"What's wrong? Is it because of the kidnapping attempt? Are you scared?" Lucas asked in confusion.

Coco rested her head on his chest, listening to the sound of his heartbeat.

She was more afraid of what Lucas would become if he lost her again instead of being kidnapped.
