Serenity sniffled. "I had a look at Clara's medical report earlier," she told Jackson.

"Clara's liver function is worsening. The report estimated that Clara might need a liver transplant after giving birth, but—"

"It's about the liver donor, right?" Jackson said, "Wilson refused to help?"

Serenity nodded. "But it's only normal. Wilson's feelings for Clara are no longer the same. Besides, he has already been a donor once. Donating his liver again would be risky." In fact, it could be life-threatening. Why would he risk his life for someone he no longer loves?

"Let's go back to Solaria and think of a solution. Maybe things aren't as bad as you think," Jackson comforted.
