Serenity nodded.

Before they left, Lisa reminded Clara, “Clare, call us if you need anything. Don’t be shy.”

“Yeah, sure.” Clara smiled gratefully with teary eyes.

She knew that the Valors and the Whites had come together and helped the police locate her quickly. She was very grateful to have met such great friends in her life.

After Serenity and Lisa left with their husbands, Clara looked at Wilson and whispered, “Do you know that I’m feeling more and more indebted to you? How could I pay you back, Wilson?”

Their relationship was like a tangled yarn. Every time Clara thought that she was going to sort things out between them, it got messier.

She was heartbroken while looking at Wilson who was covered in bandages.

Maybe they were fated to stay in a complicated relationship.
