"Well, don't overthink. When it comes down to it, I'll help," Serenity reassured.

After dropping Lisa off at home, Serenity contacted an experienced private investigator she knew from her time as a lawyer in Latveria.

"Help me investigate Monica Hart from the Hart Company. I want to know what she's been up to since her official break up with Terry White and the press conference to call off the wedding," Serenity told the investigator. She thought she had to check it out to put her mind at ease.

Serenity only contacted the investigator to look into Monica's history. She wanted to know about Edward and Mary's whereabouts, but she knew the investigator would not be able to help, especially when Jack wanted to hide their whereabouts.
