Ava looked in surprise at Naya’s mother, Esther. She was standing at the door of her apartment. It was hard to imagine how long Esther had been waiting here.

When Esther saw Ava and Tom walking together, she immediately let out a sarcastic chuckle. “Tsk tsk, Ava. I really underestimated you. No, everyone has underestimated you.”

Ava smiled when she heard that. “Oh, really? Mrs. Mendez, you might as well be direct and just say what you want to say.”

Esther was extremely pissed when she saw Ava's arrogant attitude, but she still pretended to be calm and sneered.

“Because of your slander, my daughter was accused to be a ruthless vixen who tried to destroy other people's relationships. Everyone thinks that Naya is an unruly person, but Ava, what qualifications do you have to slander my daughter like that? You hooked up with Daniel and now you’re with Tom, so why are you still pretending to be innocent?”
