Hannah's reminder sounded abnormally serious and full of concern. Madeline subconsciously looked at the charming eyes in the rearview mirror. Then, she said with a smile, “This is your brother-in-law. He’s very considerate and caring toward me. He won't bully me.”

“You can never know what he’s thinking. Sis, don't be fooled by a person's appearance,” Hannah reminded her again solemnly.

Madeline responded with a smile, “I know, I'll be careful.”

Upon hearing Madeline's answer, Hannah seemed very satisfied and happy.

She squeezed Madeline's hand and leaned her head on Madeline's shoulder happily. “Sis.”

When she heard Hannah calling her ‘Sis’, Madeline had mixed feelings.

Not long after, the car stopped in the parking garage of Old Whitman Manor.

Jeremy got out of the car first and helped Madeline open the door.

Madeline was about to get out of the car when Hannah looked at Jeremy in vigilance.

“Sis, walk with me. I don't like this man,” Hannah said as she opened the car door on
