Maddie did not see her daughter anywhere.

“Kaden, where’s Everly?”

Maddie asked, “Didn’t she go on the business trip with you?”

Kaden answered softly, “Everly went ahead to the office. I’m exhausted after the long flight. I can’t handle the exhaustion well at my age, so Everly told me to get some rest.”

He glanced at the people around Maddie and said courteously, “We have guests.”

“Old Mr. Flemming.”

Maddie’s family said hello to Kaden.
