After they were done touring Sheila’s apartment, the two left Westbrooke Gardens.

Sheila needed to go home and rest.

Alex saw her home, then said goodbye to Marvin and Enid before heading back to his own place.

He did not return to Wildridge Manor. He had already met Rosalie, so there was no need to go back now. Even if he did, his mother would probably just shoo him out again.

It was better to return to his own home.

Alex took a taxi back. Upon arriving, he noticed Rowan’s car parked in his courtyard.

“What brings Rowan here today?” Alex muttered to himself as he entered the house.

Stanley, hearing the commotion, came out to greet him.

He was all smiles as he said to Alex, “Mr. Alex, Mr. Heath and Ms. Callia have come over with Mr. Rowan.”

“Lil’ Bun and Lil’ Pie are here?”

A smile immediately spread across Alex’s handsome face. He stepped past Stanley, heading inside while calling out, “Lil’ Pie, Uncle Alex is back! C’mere and let me hug you. I’ve missed you both so much!”
