Once everything finally arrived, even the butler was startled.

The couple usually brought back some souvenirs whenever they traveled, but this was the first time they had returned with so many things.

“Mr. and Mrs. Lafayette, Old Mr. Lafayette is in the gazebo in the backyard, reading the newspaper,” the butler said to Thomas and Daisy upon returning to the house.
