“Rosalie, did you say something? I couldn’t quite hear you. Maybe you should sit next to me.”
River grinned, pulling out the chair beside him in invitation.
“It would make it easier to serve you, too.”
Rosalie shot him another glare. He just kept smiling.
Of course, there was no way she was moving.
She was the matchmaker. What kind of image would it give if she sat next to him, letting him dote on her?
Instead, she turned to Madeline with a bright smile.
“Help yourself, and don’t forget t
