“Thank you,” Liora said softly as she handed over the bag she was holding to Ashvin. Her fingers brushed his briefly before she pulled her hand back, watching as he carried the bags toward the door.
He had rolled up the sleeves of his shirt, exposing his forearms, and Liora had to consciously stop herself from staring. She cleared her throat quietly and looked away, forcing her attention back to the room.
