“Hector”
When I lay down next to Sam, she was already asleep. I thanked Joaquim for taking care of her while I explained everything that happened to the others and lay down beside her, watching her sleep. At some point, I fell asleep, and when I woke up, in the darkness of the room, I realized she wasn't there. I went to the bathroom and saw her standing under the shower, shivering and with her eyes closed.
God, how long had she been there? I quickly turned off the water and wrapped her in a towel, but it wasn't until I picked her up that she opened her eyes and looked at me. She was trembling. I took her to the bedroom, dried her, and put her on the bed, covering her with a light blanket. I climbed under the blanket and pulled her close to me.
“What are you doing?” she whispered, trying to pull away.
“I'm taking care of my wife,” I replied softly, keeping my arms firmly around her. "I'm not your wife," she replied, and I sighed. From the moment she told me to go with Isabella to the
