I can’t open my eyes again right away but I feel Enzo picking me up in his arms and then carrying me away somewhere.

The loud voices tune in and out eventually. I am dumped down on a soft seat before his hands disappear from my body.

The car begins to move. My mind remains clouded and my judgment distorted due to the excruciating pain.

My eyes open and close eventually as I try to snap out of this daze.
