I blink my eyes in shock. My cheeks heat up.

“ Don’t scare me by taking that Alpha’s name again and again. Do you really want me to turn out to be his mate? Do you want him to squeeze my neck and kill me? ” I mutter and swallow.

My hand unconsciously reaches out to my precious neck. No doubt my life is fucking hilarious, but I don’t want to die.
