I watch her jaw opening and then hanging low in terror and surprise.

Fuck.

She always fucking takes it the wrong way.

I blink my eyes and lower the cellphone for a moment.

“ Who do you want to come and get you from here? That’s what I am asking. You can’t go home alone from here. ” I narrow my eyes and glare at her.

She releases a breath through her mouth and my eyes are drawn to them. I gulp unconsciously and avert my eyes away.

She is making me lose control. All of this is so unpredictable, like getting hit by a random disaster on your way home.

“ How — How do you know them? ” She stutters, stumbling back and hitting the tree behind her.

I look back at her. That’s what she was worried about.

“ Long story. ” I am not in the mood to explain things even I can’t understand right now.

Why did I go to such extent to know all about her, absolutely everything about her? I am not sure.

“ You…” She always seems to get stuck on this word.

My eyes search her amber orbs. In t
