His eyes are black, void of any white, like those of ghouls, vampires. He holds Abraham’s head between his hands, and everyone can’t help but cautiously watch him.

An original can’t die unless their body is burned and gotten rid of. I know, the twins know until he has his head in the palms of his hands, Abraham can survive.

“ Zero. ” Ryker calls out to him, his tone dark and dangerous.

Zero glances at his friend before his eyes avert to the fire, burning close to me. My breath catches in my throat when he throws the bleeding head right into the fire. Something explodes before fire consumes Abraham’s head.

The twins shriek, lunging for the head but not reaching it in time. Horror paints my face and makes my insides twist. I have never seen something sinister like this. The thing which scares me the most is the lack of any emotion on Zero’s face.
