CHAPTER 792. PRINCESS BY DAY. A Candidate

Cameron turned around, both surprised and incredulous, when he realized whose voice it was. He found himself face to face with an older man, exhausted, with an expression that clearly showed his stress.

"Mr. Hopkins..."

"I asked you a question! Were you waiting for a damn invitation to come back?" John grumbled while Cameron pressed his lips together.

"I wasn’t waiting for anything, Mr. Hopkins. I didn’t know... I didn’t know if I’d be able to come back."

John placed a hand over his chest, as if he were having a heart attack right then and there. And, of course, Cameron felt that punch to his shoulder; an instant later, he saw Billy throw an arm around John’s shoulders.

"Are you crazy?!" Billy scolded Cameron with the same kind and sincere smile as always. "This man already had a pre-heart attack this year! You can’t just say something like that to him!"

"And what am I supposed to say?" Cameron shot back, while Billy looked at his best friend
