"You and me?" Jhon laughed as if it were obvious. "Babe, the White House Secret Service is less serious than we are!"

Chiara wrapped her arms around him and kissed him playfully before pulling him toward the stairs of a bohemian penthouse in the heart of the city.

"I bought it for us!" she said, spreading her arms wide and gesturing around.

Jhon stood there, stunned.

"Are you serious?"

"Well… it’s halfway between you and me. If we plan it right, we can see each other almost every day," she smiled, and Jhon lifted her by the waist, spinning her around in the air.

Later, he would go into caveman mode and insist on helping pay for part of the place, but for now, he wasn’t going to ruin the moment with protests. He just wanted to celebrate.
