Chapter 11 The atmosphere was imbued with an exotic air, with people of vibrant skin tones. A huge welcome banner greeted the newcomers, and another wished those departing a safe journey. Hugs flew everywhere as the parents entered the reception area. “Welcome, welcome, welcome!” exclaimed Klaus, gesturing to get his parents’ attention. “My girl…” she said, running towards me. She hugged me as if I were her own. I didn’t understand how she had recognized me, but I suppose it’s simple, since we were just standing there and, obviously, they knew Lena. I was the only one. “Dad… I miss you,” said Klaus, hugging him. “I miss you even more, sweetheart. We have so much to talk about.
