Elliot gaped at the woman next to him.

He only stole one glance at Avery from afar when he had just entered the villa. She was smiling then, but that smile vanished when she caught sight of him. By the time he sat down on the couch, Avery had already quietly moved out of his sight.

Now that she was sitting beside him, Elliot could see how slim her face was as well as the panic in her eyes.

'She has slimmed down so much!' he thought.
